As A Reminder
A-B Projects, Los Angeles, 2021

The impulse to accumulate sentimental and symbolic objects is uniquely human. We cherish keepsakes, pass down family heirlooms, and place artifacts from our history on display. Some possessions may be treasured for their aesthetic appeal while others remind us of specific moments or the lives they touched.

In this collection, human ashes, hair, and baby teeth coexist with tools that are more ambiguous in origin and purpose. Although each object lies dormant, they assert our temporality and bring into question the values we place on life and possessions.
